Following is a helpful list of the larger cities, and the small towns surrounding them in
our area.
Our larger cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Kernersville
and Burlington are surrounded by smaller towns and communities within short drives.
Oak Ridge, Summerfield, Jamestown, Brown Summit, McLeansville,
Pleasant Garden, and Julian are small incorporated towns just minutes from
Greensboro in Guilford County. Greensboro covers apprx 60% of the center of Guilford
County. High Point is located in the southwest corner of the county, and is less than half
the size of Greensboro.
Around Winston-Salem in Forsyth County lie small towns like Walkertown, Germanton,
Bethabara, Clemmons, Lewisville, Midway, Pfafftown, Rural
Hall, Walnut Cove and Wallburg. Winston-Salem covers apprx 50% of the
center of Forsyth County.
Kernersville is located between Greensboro and Winston-Salem alongside Interstate 40. It's
only a 15 minute drive from each.
Alamance County's largest town is Burlington, and it is surrounded by the smaller towns of
Elon, Gibsonville, Graham, Mebane, Haw River, Saxapahaw,
Altamahaw, Ossippee, Snow Camp, Glencoe, and Swepsonville,
all within a short drive.
Whether you plan to move to the Triad area of central North Carolina or live here
